Windows Messenger
AskMarvin! Forums -> MSN Messenger Issues This appears to be the most useful resource for addressing issues with Messenger. We're behind a Compaq Connection Point router here. I'm having a hell of a time getting the voice communication portion of Messenger to work correctly.Wednesday, December 24, 2003

KM with a gun to your head...
This is symptomatic.... It's Microsoft Office Solution Accelerator for Sarbanes-Oxley, and it smells an aweful lot like KM....KM - internal blogging
Internal blogging, over the weekend I set up .Text on our development server. I'm very impressed so far. Nice work Scott!I've set up blogs for each member of my team. We're, temporarily and geographically dispersed - hopefully if I can get them to start to contribute daily, some of the gaps we've been observing recently will close up.

KM
Dave Pollard talks about his blogging process.. All very ambitious. His focus is on blogging as a publishing tool where I primarily view the blog as a KM tool. Readership is nice, thanks for visiting. But earmarking ideas, references and events that I find important is my primary goal here.Saturday, December 06, 2003
Make a Progress Indicator For Slow-Loading Pages
Make a Progress Indicator For Slow-Loading Pages. Good code snippett for the tool box. It should be noted that if this method is used, pay careful attention to navigation because the back button re-displays the 'loading' page, not the originating page.Friday, December 05, 2003

Vague request
I have someone who wants to monitor some web sites so he can see all of the changes to a site on a weekly basis. Hmmma quick google search has revealed I spy watch which looks promising, but appears to be broken.
Search Engine Watch has a nice round up...
Real World Security
A good / entertaining article for any developer. My takeaway - yes security is tough. It's also relative. We can't forget the carbon based life forms that our intrinsically part of our 'systems'.The people using our systems have properties, methods, memory, storage capacity and hackability just like our code....
Thanks Johan.
