Today on Ebay there are 55885 items titled 'Exclusive', 368191 items are 'Rare', 24842 are 'one of a kind'. Somebody's not telling the truth!

Also we found a rare french grooming kit with ivory handles and the rest is cellulite. hmmmmm.

The first featured item of the day is the 'Only diet pill that really works'. The second feature will help me learn to play killer blues guitar in just thirty days. Could I get both?

So much for the long weekend. I spent most of the three days writing code for a new application at work. It's actually a repacement for an existing program. I'm upgrading it to SQL Server, and moving all the sql access to components. It's really just me being anal.

Questions for the day... How do I stay focussed on Client Oriented projects when I'm continually attacked by internal focussed projects. Difficult.

Yesterday a lawyer, supposedly tech savy, shocked me by requesting I print out and send her a collated version of a report I had created for her. Her terse response that "nobody wants to use the intranet, they want to print it out and give it to their secretary to do" really upset me. What am I here for if not to stop that process and hopefully improve upon it?

I guess the message is - technology isn't always the answer. I agreed to modify the report to allow for the collation. I did request resources to do the printing etc. She gave me to paralegals. awefully nice of her.

Happy New Year!

Had a great time last night. Thanks all for joining us! It's been a lazy 2002 so far. hanging out watching tv. Watched Casablanca, Dave and now we're watching 'Chris Rock, bigger and blacker'. Funny.

Tomorrow we dive back in. Employee reviews have to be done, intranet update, Extranet documentation, and Briefing center installation. Big Cay
